Interpretation help

Using an interpreter means security

As a patient you have a right to receive correct information concerning your illness and treatment. It is important that you make use of an interpreter in order to make yourself understood in your own language.

You should not use your children or other relatives as interpreters.

Tell the staff that you need an interpreter, preferably at the same time as you make an appointment at the hospital.

Interpreters and the hospital staff are sworn to secrecy. The sole task of the interpreter is to translate.

Using an interpreter does not cost you anything. The use is free of charge.
